Ballet

Ballet will be divided into 5 categories. Each class will be dependent on ability.

Ballet I

Students who are new to ballet, about ages 3-5

Ballet II and III

Students who have taken at least one year of ballet or older students who would like to start ballet.  Age 6 and above usually but there will be exceptions.

Ballet IV

Intermediate ballet students who have taken for at least one year and have a good understanding of the principals of ballet.

Ballet V

Students who have taken for many years and are ready for pointe work.

Ballet is a very structured and disciplined type of dance.  It teaches you to be strong, lean and graceful but comes with a lot of hard work.  It will consist of barre work, center floor and corner combinations. Ballet contains the fundamentals of all other dance.  If you want to be a good dancer this is where you start.

Students should come with hair in a bun, pink tights and shoes and a black leotard, ready to learn.
